On another note, my friend Rita is looking into going at the same time. I would be there a week longer than her and we wouldn't be staying with the same family but how fun would that be?

- In 2007, Tim and I spent our honeymoon in Costa Rica and Guatemala. The next year, 2008, I spent 5 weeks in Antigua, Guatemala participating in an immersion program to learn Spanish. I stayed with a local family, had one-on-one language instruction, and generally experienced and learned their wonderful culture. I loved it and the people so much, I'm going back for 4 weeks in 2009. And this time, a friend is coming along. Each year, same destination, slightly different trip, each with great stories and memories. ~Enjoy~
