Well, we made it in last night. Tim did get stopped at the airport trying to smuggle contraband.*
Our cab ride to Granda was "interesting". The engine wouldn´t start at first and it just went from there ( almost ran over a few cyclist and pedestrians). Just had a few drinks last night and breakfast this morning so not much to report. Just life as normal here in Nicaragua...well we guess we don´t really know what normal is here yet.

- In 2007, Tim and I spent our honeymoon in Costa Rica and Guatemala. The next year, 2008, I spent 5 weeks in Antigua, Guatemala participating in an immersion program to learn Spanish. I stayed with a local family, had one-on-one language instruction, and generally experienced and learned their wonderful culture. I loved it and the people so much, I'm going back for 4 weeks in 2009. And this time, a friend is coming along. Each year, same destination, slightly different trip, each with great stories and memories. ~Enjoy~

god, i'm jealous. i'm on my couch listening to a baby scream and looking for a job. i am watching samantha brown, so i guess that's a step in the right direction...
