I arrived yesterday around 3:45 and it's been nonstop fun since then! In my room was this great goody bag with tons of monogrammed gifts, coozie, wine stop, notes, it's cute! Ashley also put in germ wipes to help us ward off the swine flu! Ha! I tried on the traditional Vietnamese dress too. Yeah, my breasts are a little too big for it so buttons pop around that area if I even as much as breathe! We are trying to alter it. Next I immediately went shopping and got a great purse. Dinner was fabulous and karaoke was hillarious! Yes I sang but my fave was one of our Vietnamese friends singing Ricky Martin in Spanish. He doesn't speak Spanish so it was horribly bad...umm I mean good. Okay i'm off to more shopping and then to the beach. Everyone else is fishing.

- In 2007, Tim and I spent our honeymoon in Costa Rica and Guatemala. The next year, 2008, I spent 5 weeks in Antigua, Guatemala participating in an immersion program to learn Spanish. I stayed with a local family, had one-on-one language instruction, and generally experienced and learned their wonderful culture. I loved it and the people so much, I'm going back for 4 weeks in 2009. And this time, a friend is coming along. Each year, same destination, slightly different trip, each with great stories and memories. ~Enjoy~
