The Last Meal

I had my last familiar meal tonight. Tim and I went to Mi Cocina and I ate like a pig! It was seriously good. I'm sure there will be great food at the resort in Mexico and I know the food is good in Guatemala but it is just different, you know? Tacos Habana and a Mambo Limousine are so good and even better when paid for by gift certificates! Not a bad "last meal" if you ask me. We went to our financial planner, Laura, tonight for our last meeting before I get back. I was so tired and kept yawning. I have been so stressed to get everything done and I think knowing I'm leaving tomorrow just made me relax so I could not help but yawn eight million times a minute for two hours! I hope she wasn't offended, because she is scary good at what she does. If anyone needs a financial planner in the DFW area let me give you Laura's contact info. Just email me. You'll be happy. Okay, my flight is at 8 AM tomorrow! SO EXCITED!! Mexico, then Guatemala! FUN TIMES, ahead! So far, I only have three topics that readers hope I address...Guatmalan food, political discussion in Guat, and then get this, Ashley's wedding...requested by Ashley! She's not a bridezilla or anything! ~smiles~ She's a riot and told me she only wanted to hear more about it because she heard the bride is such a nice girl. LOL, she might be nice but not so humble. Next post from MEXICO!

So you think we would read some trashy romance novel or a wild mystery book instead of your blog, NEVER! I hope your trip is fab. Since we are all about senior year and college at our house - maybe you could find out what the locals do after HS? Just a thought. Take care :)Monica

Miss Monica, I already know the answer to this but will be sure to ask the high school student in the family I live with for a bit more perspective. Good question to compare to our culture.
